Just Announced
FREE SHUTTLE BUS 
There will be a free shuttle bus leaving from the Trigs parking lot and running down Beautiful Downtown Brown street and dropping off at the Activity Center Area. Enjoy the bonfire, visits with Santa, and the beginning of the walking path. 
The bus will run all 6 nights of the event DEC. 14TH, 15TH, 16TH  and again DEC. 21ST, 22ND, 23RD between 4:30 PM and 8:30 PM each night.

New for 2018 

Family Land

You, your family , or non-prifit youth group can come and get in on decorating a site. For $25.00 you get a 10'x10' piece af the park to call your own to add to the overall displays. Click below for an Application and further details.

Mission

- To provide a community holiday lighting festival

- To feed the hungry of the Northwoods

- To enhance the health and quality of life for children, youth, and elderly of the area

- To benefit area programs, fellow non-profits, and businesses

-To improve Rhinelander area parks for all and for year round use. 


Program Partnering
Food Pantry and Donations “At the Door”

This is a free event where food and monetary donations will be collected on site. A portion of the proceeds will stay with Lights of the Northwoods for maintenance and expansion of the displays. The remaining portions of any cash donations will be given to the participating non-profit groups for the evening or to help improve the park for all-year use. 

Lights of the Northwoods would like to partner with any groups that would like to be involved with food drives.

2018 Work Schedule 



-Thursday Nov. 29th - General meeting 6:30pm at The Haven restaurant

-Sat Nov 24-Sat Dec 1, will need to start laying out cords, watch for further details on this, may do all cords just on Sat Dec 1.

-Sat Dec 1, following the Downtown Christmas parade to 9PM the lights just in the trees will be turned on, and people can drive through for a preview. Don't need a lot of help at night but pass the word.

Sunday Dec 2nd - Friday Dec Dec 7. Preparations for setting up Ground Displays and accessories.

Saturday Dec 8th, Setting up ground displays.

Sunday Dec 9 - Fri Dec 14. Taking care of miscellaneous items, need wood hauled, check displays etc.

Fri Dec 14 4:30 - Sun Dec 16. 5PM - 9PM. Tree Lights and ground displays will be on and activities at the pavilion.

Mon Dec 17 - Fri Dec 21 Maintenance etc.

Fri Dec 21 - Sun Dec 23rd - 5PM - 9PM. Tree Lights and ground displays will be on and activities at the pavilion.

Mon Dec 24, take down some displays to reduce possibility of vandalism or theft.

Mon Dec 24 - Jan 1 - lights on only in the trees.

Sat Jan 5th and Sat Jan 12th Take down , clean up put away etc.
